Columbia ParCar
Corporation, the successor to Harley-Davidson Golf Car Company, began
August 17, 1984. Columbia continued improving and expanding the golf car
line from Harley Davidson and began expanding into the utility vehicle
business several years later.
Then, Columbia designed
and began manufacturing light duty commercial vehicles, fueling its
continuing growth. In 1999, Columbia acquired Legend Electric Vehicles
(formerly known as “Nordskog Electric Vehicles” and “Marketeer” .
Today, Columbia produces
the broadest line of electric and gas-powered golf, industrial and low
speed vehicles on the market.
